Vertical Track Systems

Altus Safety - Vertical Track Systems

Vertical tracks are designed to be retrofitted to existing ladders or rungs, making them easy to install and aesthetically pleasing. Each system comes with a short, shock absorbing Fall Arrest Device allowing for smooth, hands-free operation. Special entry/exit gates can be built into these systems if the user needs to leave the system part way up the structure.

The system provides a ‘notched’ track profile which enables the retaining carriage to ‘lock off’ should a fall occur, making the system ideal for specialist applications such as confined space and industrial chimney installations.

These systems are suitable for multiple users per system requiring training on working at height and PPE. Fall arrest systems will require rescue plans and rescue training. As well as vertical track systems, Altus Safety also provides vertical safety lines, using a cable rather than track system.

Vertical Fall Arrest Systems, as well as any fall arrest system used for Work at Height must be inspected and compliance tested once every 12 months.
